Julie started studying movement and the body when she began pre-professional dance training at age 13. After completing her B.A. in dance from the University of Oregon she moved to New York and danced professionally for several years. She has since become a Stott certified Pilates instructor, ACE certified Personal trainer, Kettlebell 1 instructor, has studied Myofascial Release extensively with John Barnes, and numerous other bodywork modalities with Dr. George Russell. Julie currently sees clients privately for Pilates, Personal Training, and Myofascial release in Manhattan. She loves teaching others about movement and feeling their bodies on a deeper level and is excited to start virtual group classes!
